Duelmint 20 Oral Paste for Small Dogs and Cats - Gentle Deworming Paste
Duelmint 20 oral paste is designed for small dogs and cats, providing a gentle effect that is suitable for sensitive animals. The treatment course lasts for three days.
Each 1 ml of paste contains active substances, including Mebendazole 20 mg and Praziquantel 1 mg, along with excipients. Duelmint is recommended for the treatment of gastrointestinal nematodes and cestodes infestations in dogs and cats.
This deworming paste is effective against different types of roundworms, hookworms, and tapeworms in dogs and cats, including Toxocara spp., Toxascaris spp., Ancylostoma spp., Uncinaria spp., Trichuris spp., Echinococcus spp., Dipylidium spp., Taenia spp., and Diphyllobothium spp.
The recommended dosage of Duelmint oral paste is 1 ml (equivalent to 1 injector division) per 1 kg of body weight per day for three consecutive days. One injector is enough for a 5 kg animal, and body weight should be measured accurately to ensure correct dosage.
For effective worm infestation treatment, repeat the deworming therapy every 3-4 weeks until the coprological analyses of the animal are negative. If Dipylidium caninum infestation is detected, flea control should be carried out to prevent reintroduction.
Duelmint oral paste is safe to use during pregnancy and lactation. The paste is applied with an injector directly into the animal's mouth, preferably on the base of the tongue. No need to starve the animal before use, and the paste can be eaten with food.
To use the product accurately, rotate the dosing ring clockwise and block the ring in the required dose section before removing the tip and moving the piston. Compatibility studies have not been carried out, and thus, this veterinary medicinal product should not be mixed with other veterinary medicinal products.
