By inhibiting prostaglandin biosynthesis, it effectively alleviates pain and reduces inflammation, making it ideal for various conditions such as degenerative joint and spine diseases, rheumatic ailments, and injuries from sports or daily activities.
Composition: Each gram of Ortofen Gel contains 10 mg of diclofenac sodium (INN: Diclofenacum natricum), ensuring potent relief with every application.
Usage: Gently apply 2 - 4 grams of gel to the affected area, covering a surface area of 400 - 800 cm², and massage it into the skin. Repeat this process 3-4 times daily as needed. Treatment duration can extend up to 14 days (or up to 28 days for osteoarthritis). Caution is advised for elderly individuals, those with impaired kidney or liver function, as diclofenac sodium is metabolized in the liver.
